It'll take you right there. To get to Japantown, walk up two blocks to Geary and catch the Geary bus going west. You can get off at Post or Fillmore; just tell the driver to let you know when you get to Japantown. The bus is $1.50 each way. The cable car is $5.00 each way. If you don't want to pay the $5.00 cable car fare, you can get off at the Embarcadero BART station, walk over to the Embarcadero and catch a street car to the wharf. To get to the wharf from Powell Street, just hop on the cable car. It’ll take you right there.

To get to Japantown, walk up two blocks to Geary and catch the Geary bus going west. You can get off at Post or Fillmore; just tell the driver to let you know when you get to Japantown.

The bus is $1.50 each way. The cable car is $5.00 each way.

If you don’t want to pay the $5.00 cable car fare, you can get off at the Embarcadero BART station, walk over to the Embarcadero and catch a street car to the wharf.
