How Do You Reset A wii remote Or The Wii System Itself?

2 days ago, my Mii channel stopped letting the options appear like Edit Mii, Transfer Mii, Send to Mii Plaza, ect. I changed out the batteries (2 days ago) and pressed the red sync button on the back of the remote by accident (finger slipped while I was trying to change out the batteries, and now even when I go to Home on the wii remote, the Cursor doesn’t come up anymore and the cursor won’t come up in the Mii Channel after I click Start. Someone with a Wii please help me. We’ve tried almost everything to fix this.We’ve tried re-syncing it, with the remote and with the Wii system, did the adjustments with the sensor bar, and so on. Someone please help!
