What is the cheapest air ticket I can get from Japan to the Philippines?

japan

Francis C asked:
My family and I were planning to go to the Philippines this December. We were wondering what the cheapest possible route was from Japan to the Philippines.

We are planning to leave Japan on December 10 2007 and we will return to Japan within the first week of January 2008. We do not mind having to transit at a different airport or using multiple airlines.

What is the best way to get to Japan town and the Wharf from the San Francisco Shopping Center?

japan

guy asked:
So, I have absolutely no idea how to travel around SF and am going to have a new experience. So I’m going to get off BART at the Powell street (that’s the stop with the multi story mall, right?) From there I want to get to Japan Town and the Wharf. What’s the best order to go to them in, what possible ways are there to get there, and roughly how much would it cost? Thank you.

How can I live and work in Japan without a collage degree. What are my options to make this happen?

japan

Zach asked:
I’m a US citizen in my early 30’s hoping to live and work in Japan for at least a year and hopefully longer but I do not have a BA degree for the visa requirement. What would be my best course of action for realizing this goal? I have worked in construction management for several years, owned my own business for a time and held positions which normally require a degree but I lack that elusive paper.

Are there any other courses I can take or skills that can help get around this requirement? Which visa should I apply for if I intend to visit and search for a job? Can I be sponsored by a company if I am already there? I know a 4 year degree is best but I would be nearly 40 by the time I could have that and I would like to be in Japan within a year or so.

I welcome any answers or ideas, have you done this or know how? Please help. I have researched many answers here and also most of the Japan jobs websites so I have an idea of whats out there.

I appreciate any advise.
Also, I am completely open to a new career, really anything. The main reason I desire to try Japan is a life long fascination with the culture and I would be willing to sacrifice some comforts to be there.

Thanks for the replies.

What is the most common way to drink coffee in Japan?

japan

Julia J asked:
I’ve been researching on the internet, and found a few sites that say it’s most common in Japan to drink it with cream and sugar. However, in all the Japanese dramas and movies I’ve seen, they always drink black coffee, unless it’s in a cafĂ©. Does anyone who has had experience in Japan have an answer to this?

I am studying Japanese and want to travel around Japan for a couple of months visiting Kyoto, Tokyo and Osaka, and various other places. However, travelling in japan always seems to be very expensive when I google it. I am a student (in the UK) and therefore on a tight budget. Where are the cheapest places to stay/eat?
